Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania then moved to New Jersey with my family while in high school. My parents had 10 children so I developed my negotiating skills from an early age! I have been married to my wife and best friend Linda for 42 years and together we have had three children, eleven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Two sets of our grandchildren are twins, boys and girls.
Stayed in Jersey for college at Seton Hall University in South Orange and received my Bachelors' Degree in Business Management and Marketing.
My first Marketing Position was as a Product Manager for a Packaging Machinery Manufacturer. Learned how to sell quality, performance and execute marketing plans. Moved to Philadelphia to focus on sales development as Director of Business Development for a consumer franchise , ultimately became Vice President of Aamco Transmissions. The next 18 years were spent in Cleveland Ohio developing and growing market share for Transtar Industries (the Automotive Aftermarket leader in Driveline Parts Distributiion). We grew sales from $65 million to $450 million through organic growth and strategic M&A programs. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team my key roles were in revenue generation as VP of Sales and Marketing and later as VP of Business Development and National Accounts. Summed up-- a career built on developing a plan and achieving objectives !
Why Real Estate ?
In the process of relocating during my career, we purchased and sold over a dozen personal homes in six different states, including a rental property and two vacation homes.I have come to understand Real Estate and enjoy the process of helping family make a smooth transition in finding the right home in the right neighborhood. I have always profited from my personal home purchases and sales because I have a keen sense for value and making strategic improvements, providing a good return on equity. I want to have fun while helping others do the same.
I am passionate about helping people refine their plans and putting them in a winning position to achieve them! This has always led to developing strong and lasting relationships.
